How it feels

Handwrite your own prayer. Dictate it out loud. Or pick one from a library of more than 300 written prayers and read-aloud audio.
Return when it answers.
Mark a prayer answered and it joins your memoir: a private record of the moments God showed up. The candle remembers.

The real iOS app. Full haptics, background audio, home screen icon, the works.
- Tap the invite link on your iPhone.
- Install TestFlight from the App Store if prompted.
- Open The Prayer Candle. That's it.
Android, Desktop, anyone else
Install as a web app
Works on Android, Windows, Mac, and iPhone. Installs to your home screen. Works offline after first load.
- Open the web link I send you.
- Tap "Add to Home Screen" (iOS) or "Install app" (Android/desktop Chrome).
- Open it from your home screen like any app.
Beta testers get the app free for the full beta and a free first year when it launches publicly.

Just me, for now.
Hi. I'm Adam. I build things for a living, but this one is personal. My family has prayed out loud over candles for as long as I can remember. When my kids started asking questions about faith, I wanted something that felt like that moment, in their pocket.
Not an app that points to God. An app that quietly gets out of the way and lets you find Him yourself.

Before you sign up.
What does "beta" mean, practically?
It means you get in early, for free, before the app is in the public App Store. The core works. Some edges are still being polished. If you find a bug, tell me and I'll fix it.
Will I be charged anything?
No. Beta is free. When the app launches publicly, every beta tester gets a free first year. No card on file, no surprise charges.
What data are you collecting?
Your prayers live on your device, not on a server. I don't see them and neither does anyone else. The only thing I collect is your email (from this form), so I can send you the invite. When you unsubscribe, I delete it.
Do I need an iPhone?
No. iPhones get the native TestFlight build. Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux get the web app version, which installs to your home screen and works offline.
How many people are you letting in?
A few hundred at first so I can actually read every piece of feedback. If signups outpace that, I'll invite in small batches.
What happens after I sign up?
You'll get an email within a day or two with both install options. If I don't have capacity yet, you'll hear back when the next batch opens.
